I remember reading an article about how Denise Richards thought it was so easy to lose weight after her baby was born. However, the article revealed that all of her meals were brought in already prepared to the exact diet she needed to be healthy and lose weight. I was envious that the rich had these kinds of options that were not available to the rest of us.
Things have changed. A company called Diet to Go claims that they can do the same things for the rest of the world without the Hollywood price tag. They deliver meals directly to customers’ front doors in a cooler that they provide. This eliminates calorie counting, carb counting and even shopping.
But does it work? The answer is yes and no.
If you stick to their meal plan and the food provided, it works great. By sticking only to what they have made fresh according to the menu that you choose, most people will be able to lose an average of about 2-3 pounds a week.
However, if you still have other food in the house and don’t have the will power to avoid it, you will fail. You will still need to be able to say no to other foods.
Therefore, it you are not ready to make a commitment to losing weight and eating healthy, you shouldn’t waste your money. However, if you want to have great food and are ready to make good choices, you may have that Hollywood body in no time.
