How To Remove Back Fat - Upper and Lower

To remove your back fat, whether lower of upper, you need to let go of a great part of what you ever knew about the right way to lose fat. Why? because for years we all have been taught that in order to lose fat and get lean, we need to spend a lot of time doing cardiovascular activities. To this day you see people who spend hours on the treadmill or the elliptical. And you know what, a lot of those people don't show real results.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against cardiovascular workouts. In fact, I do 10 miles run 2 times each week. But in order to remove back fat and firm up those muscles, I suggest that you give the aerobic machines a rest and spend more time in the weight training area. Why? Because strength training is one of the best ways to get lean and firm. This is so because the more lean muscle tissue we have, the more calories our body burns even when it's resting. Let me repeat that, even when it's resting.

Muscle tissue simply requires more calories to sustain itself. How much exactly? There are many opinions, but some estimates put it as high as 50 calories every day for each pound of muscle tissue. This is a huge increase in the number of burned calories. This will have distinct results on every body part. That's why I say that increasing muscle tissue is the way to go in order to remove back fat, lower or upper.

Remember, I'm not saying that you should quit doing cardio altogether. You should do cardio because it does burn fat and it does improve your health. I'm only saying that you shouldn't believe that cardio is the only solution to your back fat, because there's a good chance that this will not be so. Of course, you also need to maintain a good diet in order to make sure you don't pack on new pounds of fat.

But the real thing that's probably missing and keeping you from removing your back fat is proper weight training. Do more weight training and you should see a real improvement in your back fast.
